Rain Clouds

While taking the dogs for a walk on Wednesday {and Issy was scooter-ing}, the sky started to look like this (love the sun shining through the clouds)

.
There were a few big fat raindrops falling about halfway through our walk, and we were too far from our house to make a run for it if the heavens decided to open up


Thankfully those few raindrops were all we got while walking.
Issy thought the clouds were following us.
She kept checking the sky, to find the bright blue spots not yet swallowed up by the rain clouds and also to check on the greyness of the sky.


On the home stretch she wanted to race the clouds.
We made it home dry, tired and thirsty.
The rain stayed away until we were all tucked up in bed and dreaming sweet dreams.


It stayed for netball training the next day though.
