"It's raining it's pouring..."

Gumboots by the front door, ready for the puddle jumping that is happening a lot lately.

This is Issy's favourite song to sing along to in the car at the moment.
She calls it the "heap on the floor song".



Pre-school has been great. Issy has such a blast. She keeps asking why she can't go to school every day like some of the other schools we pass in our daily travels (primary and high schools) so I have put her name down for three days next year.
Swimming is also going really well. Still not a fan of jumping into the pool by herself, but getting there.

We re-arranged and organised our space a while back, and all of Issy's clothes were moved so she could reach them easily to help with her growing independence. She loves to dress herself and will do so four or five times a day if we are at home. Only problem is she will wear outfits not really seen in winter months and insists that she is not cold and is fine!
She is slowly working out that her outfit of choice will be altered if she isn't covered up, so is working with layers to keep the summer look but make Mama happy by being all covered up.

Issy has holidays coming up soon, and we will be heading down to visit Ali and Andrew who might get snow this year, or at least live a lot closer than we do, and Issy cannot wait.
