Issy is three!!!
This is Issy in her last moments as a two year old:

brushing those pearly whites before bed

a couple of moments ago!
Tomorrow (well today really), we will just be hanging out and enjoying the day, maybe go for a swim (depending on the weather) and then Saturday is her High School Musical party.
We got the decorations today, and Issy is super excited about the party - she cannot wait!
Super Aunty Mel will be at the party with camera in hand, so we should have some excellent photos!
These are the awesome invites that Mel made for the party:

And now I really should be in bed!!

The Wedding!
Ali and Andrew's wedding was wonderful.
The drive there on Friday was unusual. I am so used to having requests for the "Gabriella Song" that it was weird to listen to my music - and the whole CD too! Usually, if we are listening to something of mine, a particular song will grab Issy's attention and we listen to it over and over and over again!
Issy hung out with Aunty Amanda and Mel Friday night and helped Amanda celebrate her Halloween birthday, and even went trick-or-treating!
It was so weird to be in a bed all by myself too - with no little feet kicking me out of the way.
Saturday morning I went with Ali to the reception venue to have a look as the finishing touches were being put up and it was gorgeous. The flowers had arrived to and it just gave the room a beautiful feeling.
3pm came around way too quickly and it was time to enter the chapel.
Mel, Amanda and Sarah brought Issy up, helped get her ready (and helped me with my last minute preparations) and stayed for the ceremony.
We had some photos before the ceremony, and Issy did a great job. She was very shy about someone else taking her photo, but after the photographer showed her some of the pictures of her on the back LCD screen, she was cracking the smile - she sure does love seeing her own photos!
The ceremony was beautiful - and felt like it was over in the blink of an eye.
Ali and Andrew wrote their own vows, based on this song from the Wedding Singer, it was so them.
And then it was out to have photos in the Hunter Valley Gardens.
Then on to the reception where my camera was sitting waiting for Issy:

We spent the night laughing, dancing and just enjoying the days events.
Andrew's speech was just as beautiful as their vows. Apparently he wrote it that morning.

We headed off to bed around 11pm, and Issy was asleep almost instantly.

We enjoyed breakfast on Sunday morning with the newlywed couple and Ali's family Issy was besotted with her two younger brothers who were the pageboys during the ceremony on Saturday, and who she stood with in the bridal party photos :)
And then it was time to head home.
This is how Issy started the trip:

And this was about 15 minutes later:

It was such a great weekend, and I feel loved to have been able to share such a special day with such special people.
